It starts with a bright light in the sky, almost as if a second sun has risen directly over the city. Floating down are multiple shining motes that are slightly hot to the touch and shimmer gently, forming a sparkling cloud.
Quite suddenly, multiple bolts of electricity radiate out from a central point above the bright light, forming a network of lightning that races across the sky before arrowing downwards to a single point, discharging itself in the ground with a blinding flash.
When it clears, there's a young girl standing just a few feet away from the site of the strike, arms outstretched as she strikes a dramatic pose, a massive six-winged moth floating gently beside her.
"Behold! Kotoha, the legendary heavenly genius, has arrived!"
As she drops the pose, a Magnezone slowly floats down from the skies above, side magnets spinning weakly.
"Nice job with the effects, you two! Okay, let's go get some lunch, huh?"
...what the hell was that all about?

[HE LIKES YOU ALREADY]

She does a quick pirouette.
"I am an actress, after all!"

[THIS MUST BE DESTINY]

"I recently finished filming the Love And Battles trilogy, actually."

She looks faintly embarrassed, now.
"I wouldn't have expected you to know them even if you were from Unova, honestly - not really my best work."
no subject
[And then a charming smile] Which would you say is your best work, then?
no subject
"Well, the Ghost Hunter series is my most high-profile work, but I'm more attached to the Invaders series, since that was my big breakout role."

"Alien invaders."

"Last I heard, the DVDs are due for release soon, so that's something to look forward to, at least."
She very carefully doesn't touch upon the other half of the sentence.

"So! Is there a nice restaurant around here?"

Kotoha starts rummaging through her bag.
"Uhh...all I've got in here is milk and honey."
So much for that idea, then.

An overly exaggerated 'lead on' gesture while she smirks at her own posturing.
"Lay on, MacDuff!"
...trust an actress to use the actual quote.

I was curious, by the way... I've never seen a pokemon quite like yours... [nodding towards that Volcarona]

She grins.
"I have a friend who'd talk your ear off, telling you everything you ever wanted to know about Volcaronas, but I like keeping things simple."
There's a tone of fond exasperation in her voice as she mentions her friend.
Oh god sorry for lateness
S'cool!
"Well, I could tell you a lot of things about this specific Volcarona, then?"

"I caught him because Volcarona can learn Fly."
There's a dreamy look on her face as she remembers something.
"The first time we flew together...I could see all of Unova below us, and it was like I could just...reach out and grasp it in my hand. His wings shed tiny scales behind us that sparkled in the sun - it was like I was riding a on a sunbeam made solid."
She shakes herself out of her revery, a gentle smile still tugging at the corners of her lips.
"I'll never forget that moment. Not for as long as I live."

"If you want, I can collect some of his scales in jars?"
She can't quite keep the amused lilt out of her voice as she offers you the sparklepowder.
no subject
... really?

A slight pause.
"I just need to find a clean jar first."
