OOC: BASIC INFORMATION
Basic information for the game!
Rules can be found in the community's profile.
This is just a small musebox game for people (mostly Eroe and Melon) to come in and use their Pokemon characters. There's no applications, ACs, or character limits. Feel free to jump in! Voice testing and characters with past game memories/CR are welcome.
SETTING:
Kanto's Vermilion City, minus almost all of its inhabitants and locked off from the rest of the world. Characters can visit routes 6 & 11, Diglett cave, the S. S Anne (which is docked), or swim out a little ways into the sea. However, rocks will block off all exits further than that, and a clear but solid barrier will prevent any further progress by anyone who tries to fly over or otherwise avoid the barricade. It seems like something a Psychic 'mon might be able to do, but any attempts to destroy it will fail.
Why? Because it'd be hard for characters to bump into each other if all of Kanto was available!
The city is a bit larger than what you'd see in game, with plenty of buildings and empty construction space. The fields on either side are big enough to set up all kinds of things or battle without disturbing passerbys too much.
NPCs:
There's a single, mildly confused nurse working in the Pokemon Center, and a shopkeeper from the store who has access to digital storage containing pretty much everything anyone could need. Every other resident of the city, however, has up and vanished for Mysterious Reasons.
POSSIBLE THINGS TO DO:
-Throw up a random botherpost for other people to tag to your character. You don't need to pay too much attention to the setting if you don't want to!
-The shopkeeper will provide people with what they need for free. If your character needs something special to function, it may mysteriously become available at the shop. You can have your character pick up clean clothes, or get some good food.
-Since everyone's vanished, the buildings and houses are all open to be messed with or moved into. Trainers can just stay at the Pokemon Center until they pick a place to stay, though. A character could be hanging out in the Center's lobby, or leave their doors unlocked for guests to wander in.
-Most of the Pokemon in the area are level 10-20. But if you want a non-local wild Pokemon to mysteriously show up, that's fine!
-Have a character set up a small business, hold a tournament, or help out at the Pokemon Center.
MISC:
Feel free to ask any questions here. If the layout doesn't agree with your eyes, or you'd like us to edit the community's settings, or you'd like for more areas to be opened up, or whatever, you can also leave a comment here!
